External Iomega Recovery Disk

Iomega is a computer hardware company that makes a variety of external storage devices. If you are using a form of Iomega external disk (such as a Zip disk) and some of the files appear to be corrupt, it is possible to recover your data information with a file recovery program that you can download for free from the Internet. download and install a recovery software program if you don’t already have one. Programs such as PC Inspector File Recovery, Pandora Recovery, and EASEUS Data Recovery are available for free online (see Resources).

Insert the Iomega disk into the computer or external hard drive, then load the installed software. Select the Iomega disk drive, then choose the “Scan” function. Wait for the program to finish scanning the disk. A list is displayed on the screen with all the files he is capable of scanning.

Place a selection next to all the files you want to restore and click the “Restore” button. Iomega data files are restored back to disk.
