How to Rescue a Dead Pen Drive

Flash drives are becoming more affordable each day and continue to increase in size. Flash drives provide fast, easy file transfer and large amounts of information. However, if yours has been living its full life, formatting it can quickly retrieve your drive and give it a second time. Instructions
Turn on the computer . When it started to climb, plug your pendrive into the USB port.

Click “Start” and then “My Computer”. Locate the flash drive. It should be located under “Devices with Removable Storage”, which is located under “Hard Drive” at the top of the window.

Right-click on the drive and click “Format.”

Click “Start” to start formatting your pen drive. Formatting is the process of restoring your drive to its original state, erasing all files and settings from the car. Note: This process can take more than 10 minutes
