The setting is also easy, and you can set automatic startup by adding or deleting shortcut icons and executable files in the startup folder. With the settings in the figure below, “Documents” and “Mail” will start automatically after you sign in.
- If you want to start automatically by yourself in an environment that is registered and used by users other than yourself, register it in the user-specific startup folder.
- If you want it to start automatically for your own PC or other users, register it in the startup folder for all users.
Disabling Autostart in Startup Folder
To cancel the automatic startup after sign-in registered in the startup folder, simply delete the shortcut icon or executable file that you want to stop automatic startup from the startup folder. With the settings in the figure below, the automatic startup of “Mail” will be canceled.
